When "Eternal Sunchine of the Spotless Mind" came out, I watched it 3 times in theatre and 1 on DVD. This time the upcoming "Science of Sleep" by Michel Gondry seems quite promising too (at least from these posters above). The plot a step beyond:A man held captive by the people in his dreams tries to wake himself up and take control of his own imaginings.... More on the trailer here. Apart from directing his first movie, Michel Gondry is showing at Deitch Projects gallery in NYC too. In this exhibition, he will show movie sets which are presented as sculptures and "pathological creepy little gifts" as stated in the gallery's press release.

I am back to Athens and my holidays FINITO! During my aegean journey I had the chance to read more books than I usually do. Four books in 3 weeks. These books are: " Complete Tales & Poems" by Edgar Allan Poe, a great classic. The soap-operish, post- Sep11th "The Brooklyn Follies" by my favourite Paul Auster. The mysterious " Secret History" by Donna Tart and finally the poetic and lyrical "Asleep" by the japanese Banana Yoshimoto. Books are us! Related links: Paul Auster Banana Yoshimoto

If you are in London these days have a look on this. Hundreds of people are expected to in a hall (Drop studios) in London on August 5 to jerk one off in the name of charity. San Francisco-based Centre for Sex and Culture is the organizer of the event and has run mass masturbation events here in the US for the past five years to raise money for the safe sex groups. Prizes will be on offer for those who make the most orgasms and those who can masturbate the longest. More info: Masturbate a Thon source: Jocko Homo
